Privacy
Data retention.
Jank AI keeps account, character, chat, upload, report, and moderation records while an account is active so the service can work, investigate abuse, enforce safety rules, and recover from operational problems.
Deletion requests
Users can request deletion of their account data through the privacy contact on the public contact page. We may need to verify the requester before deleting account data.
Some records may be retained when needed for security, abuse prevention, legal obligations, moderation history, or legal claims. Backup copies may remain until backup rotation removes them.
Chat privacy
Private chat history is encrypted at rest in Jank AI's database and is processed as needed to provide chat, account, safety, reporting, and service operations.
Records we may retain
- Account profile, adult-access confirmation, login, and membership state.
- Characters, published templates, chats, personas, environments, and uploaded avatars.
- Reports, moderation notes, staff audit logs, and enforcement actions.
- Operational logs needed to protect the service and diagnose abuse or failures.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of personal data. This page is a product policy summary, not legal advice.
